I don't know about you, but it's exhausting reading and watching all the different books on nutrition, nutrition, and weight loss. It's gotten to the point where it's just white noise. There is an answer for everything and a contradiction for all of these correct answers.
Why is it so difficult for people to eat healthy, to lose weight quickly and to have more energy?
Two words ...Information overload!!! How can you make informed decisions about a nutrition program when the grass is always greener on the other side? And I'll even go one step further and say it shouldn't be that hard. It shouldn't be so hard to eat the foods that will help you lose weight quickly, keep it off, and give you more energy. In all my years of studying, I've found the easiest way to eat is to eat foods as naturally as possible (this means organic, grass-fed, free-range, and free of preservatives and processed sugars) and for your metabolic type.
What is your type of metabolism? It falls in three categories:
Protein type
Mixed
Carbo type
Metabolic typing is based on eating the foods your ancestors ate. Your ancestors' bodies adapted to the foods that were around them. This also determines your chemistry and your genetic makeup. When you eat these foods, your body responds positively - it processes the food better and you feel both satisfied and energized. When you feel satisfied with your meals, you are more likely to eat less (portions) and eat fewer nutrient-poor foods (excess calories/fats). Your mood will also improve and you will feel less sluggish.
The evaluation is very simple and, as I call it, scientifically intuitive. At the end of the test, you will receive a score, which you can use to determine which type category you fall into. It is even more important that you really think about the test of how you feel after eating certain foods and which are best suited for you. Brokkoli has many amazing health benefits, but that doesn't mean it is right for them! I can personally confirm the effectiveness of this kind of “common sense”. I always "eaten healthy", but I never felt good. Physically I looked healthy and only had a minimal body fat, but I felt sluggish and sick most of the time. After I had made this rating and optimized through simple tracking, I started to feel my potential to feel good.
This is a much easier way to eat because it is not a dogmatic diet that is restrictive and does not necessarily rob the food you like to eat. This means that shopping in the grocery store will not be overwhelming and you will not feel guilty when you go out. The meal that you select in the restaurant corresponds exactly to your type of metabolism. You deserve to look good and feel good, and I would like to help you get there!
