*Defending champion

The last item on this list is interesting. The date of the Ms. International competition is yet to be announced, but the winner of this competition will also be invited to participate in this show.

Former champions

Shaw is the three-time defending champion, but this competition dates back to 2015. The last four winners of this show are listed below.

  • 2020–2022 – Andrea Shaw
  • 2017, 2019 – Helle Trevino
  • 2018 – Alina Popa
  • 2015–2016 – Margie Martin

Shaw is already the winningest champion in the competition's short history, but she is clearly looking to tie that record and win her fourth championship. She is also the three-time and reigning Ms. Olympia. The Rising Phoenix show doubled as a show showing how she would perform at the Olympics. This year the two competitions are only six weeks apart. The Olympia takes place November 2-5 in Orlando, FL. The fact that Shaw has to peak twice could make this a unique challenge.

Nevertheless, Shaw is considered the early favorite for a fourth win at both the Rising Phoenix and the Olympia. There are no other previous champions in this lineup, but Ash was the runner-up to Shaw in the Rising Phoenix show in 2022, and Yeo was the runner-up at Ms. Olympia. Both women take part in this competition. Ash has a lot of experience, while Yeo is considered a future superstar in the IFBB Pro League. Any competitor could potentially break Shaw's winning streak and win the title, $50,000 in prize money and qualification for the 2023 Ms. Olympia. If so, how would that impact the Ms. Olympia competition in Orlando?
