Ab workout for a flat stomach
There are literally dozens of ads and TV commercials telling you that you only need 2-3 minutes a day to do an ab workout gimmick and get sexy abs in just a few weeks.
Have you ever tried any of these ab “gimmicks”?
Did you get the promised results?
If you've purchased one of these devices, you've most likely realized by now that the company promoting the gimmick is engaging in borderline false advertising.
But there are some things you can do for your no-equipment ab workout to get sexy abs and a flat stomach, starting now. Without any fancy gimmicks.
1) Increase your intensity - I don't mean doing more ab crunches or sit-ups, I mean making the exercise more difficult.
2) Use Resistance – Instead of crushing the crunches or sit-ups on the floor, pick up something that weighs 5 to 10 pounds to increase the difficulty.
3) Decrease the reps – 20 to 30 or even 100 abs in one workout is a waste of time. You can just do situps really well. Decrease repetitions to allow for greater resistance.
The purpose of your abdominal training is to stimulate your abdominal muscles to become stronger and denser. These in turn become tighter and harder once you reach a low body fat percentage.
The idea that starting workouts or starting exercises will give you a flat, toned stomach is absolutely false. If you use these 3 tips along with the right exercise and nutrition program, you'll have a flat, sexy stomach before you know it.
