Well, the secret isn't really a secret as everyone knows what it does, however few women realize that it helps in toning thighs and slimming hips. Alenkar is an athletics competitor and not a long-distance marathon runner. She runs the 200m, which requires her to sprint all she can for a short period of time. These quick bursts of speed to move her body give her a great ass and die for legs. If you don't believe that the sprinting she does is the cause of her beautiful thighs and hips, just look at the majority of female sprinters. Almost all of them are not only in great shape, but their legs, thighs and hips are beautifully toned and well defined.
Why sprint for toned thighs and hips versus jogging?
For starters, jogging doesn't really work enough to make a difference. However, when you sprint, there is more emphasis on the muscle working harder because the glutes are one of the largest muscles in the body. With that being said, it takes more of an explosive type of movement to contract it extremely. Many people would suggest that squats do the same thing, but you're more likely to bulk up rather than strengthen. Sprinting develops both your glutes and thigh areas and helps build your thighs and hips so everything is equally proportionate and gives you a nice sexy look.

When sprinting, you first need to make sure you relax your shoulders and don't follow the mistake many others make by hunching their shoulders while running. Another tip is that when sprinting, you want to make sure your feet barely touch the ground. If you look at some of the top sprinters, you'll notice that their feet never seem to actually touch the ground. They will barely touch the ground with their forefoot before it is back in the air, almost as if they are flying.
Sprint Training Like Alenka Bikar and other female sprinters
As with any high-intensity workout, you want to make sure you warm up. Before starting this workout, you should jog for about 100 to 150 meters, then stop and return to the starting position. Next time you want to increase your speed to a faster pace and then go back. Each time you return to the starting position, you want to increase your intensity.
On the 4th lap you should first jog for around 20 meters. When you reach the 20-yard mark, you should go all out as quickly as possible. This is called a “running start” and prevents your muscles from being pulled. Walk back to the starting point at a nice, brisk pace and repeat 2-4 more times. Trust me so much, you will have the most beautiful butt, slimmest hips and best thighs you can imagine in no time.
