There have been many rumors that Elssbiay had to struggle with injuries, and he admitted that he had undergone stem cell treatments, hoping to return to the form that made him 16thTHMan who holds the greatest bodybuilding title. “They did an MRI of my spine because they thought the nerve had no connection to the muscle,” Elssbiay said. "They said there was just inflammation around my elbow affecting the nerve there. So the blood won't flow."

Cormier then asked if Big Ramy could train and he replied that he couldn't until early June, but he was also traveling so he just waited until he got back into a routine before going back to the gym.

"I trained the upper body today and felt pretty good."

There were many conversations about whether the 16ThMr. Olympia should take an extended break as he will not be participating in the 2023 Olympia in Orlando, Florida from November 2nd to 5th. The former champion was honest about his feelings when he heard such conversations.

“I feel bad when I hear someone tell me, ‘You have to quit.’ I think the only thing you can say to someone competing is, ‘Yes, you can do it.’”
