Because the life of generations of people of alcoholism and drug addiction has been dominated and ruined. For me, sobriety is always in the top."

Curtis has spoken about her sobriety in the past. In fact, she celebrated 22 years of sobriety with an Instagram post in February 2021, which contained a caption for her experience and a relapse photo.

"A long time ago ... in a wide, distant galaxy ... I was a young star with myself in the war," she wrote at the time. "Back then I didn't know. I hunted everything. I kept it hidden. I was [as] sick as my secrets."
