At 64, Jamie Lee Curtis is feeling good. The actress chatted with Hoda Kotb about aging in a recent Today with Hoda & Jenna segment. She also shared the simple advice she passes on to her daughters digitally with Today.

When asked what it feels like to be her age, Curtis had a simple answer. “Oh my God, the best thing you’ve ever worn,” she told Kotb. "I think after all these years of trying, a lot of therapy, a lot of sobriety, I'm perfect for Jamie now. I feel good in my skin, in my mind, in my body."

Some of these trials and errors may relate to their experiences with cosmetic procedures. Curtis has been open to getting plastic surgery in the past — something that led her to become addicted to Vicodin, she explained to Fast Company in 2021. Now, she loudly condemns these types of procedures and the term "anti-aging" in general.

Jamie Lee Curtis is not interested in the term “anti-aging”

"You know, we live in a wrong society, Hoda, and I waxed poetic and became a bit militant about the cosmetics industry [is] unfortunately feeding young people that you can do something to change your appearance when you can't," she said in her recent interview with Kotb. "Well, the problem is technology. We can do it on our phones, we can erase our lives, and there are too many celebrities - I won't name you - who do it on a daily basis, who post these ridiculous pictures of themselves looking like that," she continued.

Curtis is much more interested in appearing her age than pretending otherwise. "Maybe the more movies I do where people are like, 'Oh, she looks like an old lady,' okay, it's all good," the Halloween actress said. "Age is what happens. We are human."

As for Curtis’ advice to her daughters? “Don’t mess with your face,” she told Today Digital. “I had plastic surgery,” she continued. "I put Botox in my head. Does Botox make the big wrinkle go away? Yes. But then you look like a plastic figure."

She seems to hope that her past experiences will help her children make different choices. “Walk a mile in my shoes,” Curtis said. "I did it. It didn't work." (Next: Why Tia Mowry considers her gray hair a "blessing")
