Meghan Trainor and Penn Badgley just did a viral TikTok dance together
Social media platforms, especially TikTok, have a way of bringing unlikely song-and-dance duos together. Meghan Trainor and Penn Badgley recently teamed up for a choreographed number that has to be seen to be believed.
In a clip that currently has more than 17 million views, the "All About That Bass" singer and Gossip Girl alum dances in front of a yellow wall. Trainor is wearing leggings and a pink sweatshirt, while Badgley is wearing a gray sweater and a baseball cap reminiscent of what his character Joe Goldberg wears in his spooky Netflix show called You.
The dance is set to Trainor's recent hit "Made You Look," which has quickly climbed the TikTok music charts as more app users try out the viral hip dipping, shimmying and headbopping dance. Badgley's efforts are entertaining to watch, to say the least, as he fumbles through some of the moves.

"I'm obsessed with YOU," Trainor writes in the TikTok post's caption, playfully referencing Badgley's show, which airs a new season in February 2023.
The video now has three million likes and tens of thousands of comments. Even some other celebs chimed in on the silly post. “Omg okay I’m jealous!” wrote Tia Mowry. “I’m going to keep practicing,” added Kevin Bacon, who is certainly no stranger to dance moves.
Trainor and Badgley teamed up to promote an upcoming episode of the actor's podcast called Podcrushed with the singer. In case you're unfamiliar, the podcast hosted by Badgley shares celebrity interviews with a focus on middle school stories that often involve heartbreak, self-discovery, and (by nature) some embarrassing moments.
While it's unclear what Trainor will discuss on the December 21 podcast episode, the singer is often an open book when it comes to typically taboo topics.
Last year, she shared details about her difficult pregnancy and birth. She was diagnosed with gestational diabetes in the 16th week of her pregnancy, which affects around six to nine percent of pregnant women. Then, when it was time to deliver, she unexpectedly had to have a cesarean section because her baby was in a breech position (head up in the uterus), making a vaginal birth more difficult and sometimes impossible.
Most recently, Trainor spoke about struggling with body image as a new mother and how antidepressants helped her deal with panic disorder. "When a doctor tells you there's something wrong with your brain, that's the biggest thing ever, so I took antidepressants and it saved my life," Trainor said during an Apple Fitness+ Time to Walk episode.
Until the new podcast episode is released, you can enjoy Trainor and Badgley's performance on TikTok and maybe even try it out yourself.
